Avijatrik: Gaurav Chakrabarty Can’t Wait To See His Father And Brother Together On Screen

Gaurav Chakrabarty is basking in the success of his recent release ‘Dwitiyo Purush’. But he is also happy for another reason as his father and brother will be sharing the screen in the upcoming film Avijatrik -The Wanderlust Within’. The film stars Arjun Chakrabarty as Apu in the lead role. The film Avijatrik is based on the last part of Bibhutibhusan Bandyopadhyay's Aparajito and the film will take you back in time.
Gaurav Chakrabarty took to his official Twitter handle and expressed his happiness, “This is special. Touching. Nostalgic. Really looking forward. And like I have been continuously saying, can’t wait to watch father and son together after such a long time.”

The teaser opens up with introduction of Arjun Chakrabarty and his son. In the video, Apu is traveling with his son and showing him the world. In this journey, they meet many people who eventually becomes part of their travel and given them different memory.

The storyline is based on the concluding part of, Aparajito, by Bibhutibhushan Bandopadhyay. In the film, Apu will relive his childhood through the eyes of his son, visiting Benaras and his village Nischindipur. The film starts where Satyajit Ray's Apu trilogy ended. Abhijatrik will take Apu's story forward.
